Holistic Heart-Centred Coaching for HR Professionals
I love coaching my HR tribe!
We get each other – birds of a feather flock together…
AND – I’ve been in your shoes.
HR Business Partner, HR Director, HR Services Manager, HR Progamme Manager – to name just a few of the roles I’ve occupied in my 22 year HR career!
You and I both know that when an employee goes home at the end of every single working day feeling valued and cared for, there is a tremendous ripple effect. Relationships and marriages are more resilient.
Children are more resilient. Family finances are more resilient. Health and wellbeing of everyone in that family is more resilient.
That resilience doesn’t stay within the confines of the family home. It raises the resilience of communities.
You know all of this and you would love your organisational culture to be more like this, and maybe they are…a little bit (but not nearly enough right?)
But who is looking out for YOU?!
Yes you, the forgotten heroine of the business.
Who is helping you to make sense of the nonsense?
Who do YOU turn to when the going gets tough?
Who is REALLY listening to you?
And I mean REALLY listening, hearing you, giving you that safe space to be totally vulnerable and authentic and just say it like it is? Without judgement!
HR can be a very lonely and isolating place.
And because you probably went into HR “because you love working with people”…
You’re probably giving more of yourself than is truly healthy or sustainable.
Yep, I’ve burnout out, suffered with depression, all in the name of not being authentic to my true self – in my career AND in my love life.
And I see many hugely talented, senior HR professionals suffering the same way I did.
Struggling with overwork, perfectionism, people pleasing and “imposter syndrome” (I detest that label by the way!) and since 2020 the pressures on HR teams have been EXTRAORDINARY.
It’s been a gamechanger hasn’t it.
And it isn’t going away.
You feel you can’t confide in anyone at work, because you’re HR right?!
Your friends and family either don’t get it or are too busy with their own problems.
So you suffer, in silence.
Secretly dreading Mondays.
Searching for answers.
Maybe you need to learn more? Maybe you need to worry less? Maybe you need to stop taking life so seriously? Maybe you need to … STOP!
Just stop. Take a deep breath. Then another…
And let me ask you this one question…
“Can you imagine doing what you’re doing now in 10 years time?”
And if the thought makes your heart sink
Let me ask you another…
“Have you fallen out of love with your profession or have you lost all sense of who you really are and what you want from life?”
There is no right answer but it can really help to talk this through with someone who’s walked your path and come out the other side.
Be held in a loving conversation with a trauma-informed, emotional transformation coach who can help you to make sense of the thoughts and emotions that are keeping you awake at night.
And how can you do that?
Kind Words for Tracey
Create an Award Winning Culture
It’s no secret that Companies that thrive and are market leaders in their field, also have a strong reputation for workplace cultures that create enviable levels of employee engagement, loyalty and pride in the brand.
Employees want more than a pay check and kudos of working for a big brand name on their CV. They want to work for an organisation that stands for far greater than turning a profit and they want to work for an employer who genuinely has them AND their families best interests at heart.
So what can CEO’s and HR departments do to start their own conscious culture journey?
